All boxes are made with "your Choice" (can affect price) 1/2 and 1/4 Birch, Maple, Oak, Knotty Pine, Cedar. Birch is the cheapest, doesn't affect integrity or construction, basically its the look when it comes to species choice. Cedar is the most expensive, but lightest, and hardest to get a hold of.
